Evelyn Nsiah Asare

Evelyn Nsiah Asare is a pioneering leader in Ghanaian sports, with a distinguished career spanning nearly three decades as an academic, administrator, journalist, and former athlete. Her academic credentials are as robust as her professional experience, holding a BEd in Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Sports, an MBA in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, an MPhil in Procurement Management, and currently pursuing a PhD in Business Management.

Evelyn’s executive impact is felt across all levels of sport. She has managed Ghana’s Senior, U20, and U17 Women’s National Teams and contributed to major events like the 2018 Africa Women Cup of Nations and 2008 Africa Cup of Nations. Her leadership transformed Hasaacas Ladies FC, which she led to historic national and continental success following a board role with Asante Kotoko.

Currently, she continues to shape Ghana’s sports landscape as an Executive Board Member of the Badminton Association of Ghana, a lecturer and Head of Sports at Sunyani Technical University, and the first female Vice President of the Sports Writers Association of Ghana—cementing her legacy as a transformative figure in the industry.
