Digital transformation
In January 2023, we reached a landmark agreement with experienced sports management firm SportLoMo to become our new digital partner. This was the result of an extensive process with leading players in the sector.
SportLoMo, an Irish company that also works with Volleyball Canada, will provide highly configurable and integrated sports management software, bringing together previously fragmented membership, competitions and club management systems. An integrated system will create efficiencies and improve the user experience, amongst other benefits.
This project is a key enabler of our strategy, The Game Plan, as it cuts right across our pillars of lifelong participation, strengthened clubs and delivery partners, and an improved suite of member products and services.

Project Update
January
We announced SportLoMo as our new Digital Systems Partner and revealed plans to launch new sports management software for the 2023/24 season.
February
After announcing our partnership, our focus swiftly turned from exploration and negotiation into setup and configuration.
March
Following a vote from our community, it was confirmed our new system would take the name of it's predecessor; VolleyZone. Testing began on the new platform ahead of NVL entries opening in Spring.
June
After a rigorous testing process, we were able to confirm the launch date of the new platform.
