Safeguarding and Welfare

Your Safety is Our Game’s Foundation

Ghana Badminton is dedicated to ensuring that everyone involved in our sport—players, staff, and volunteers—feels safe, respected, and valued. We listen, we act, and we are committed to maintaining a positive environment for all.

Safeguarding is everyone’s duty. By working together, we create a badminton community that actively protects its members from harm.

To guide and protect our community, we have developed two key policies:

  • Protecting Our Young Players: Our Safeguarding Children Policy offers clear guidance and tools to prevent harm and support the well-being of children and young people. Find the specific resources you need, whether you are a parent, a young athlete, or a Club Welfare Officer.

  • Supporting Adults at Risk: Our Safeguarding Adults Policy helps ensure that every adult at risk has a positive and secure badminton experience. Discover resources designed for your specific role within the sport.
